He's gotten around..  His photographs have appeared in most major
entertainment magazines.  He's done album artwork, promo shoots, and
directed videos for a ton of major artists (including a long history with
Depeche Mode and U2 as well as work with Joy Division, Nirvana, Metallica,
REM, David Bowie, Nick Cave, David Sylvian, and probably well over 100 other
artists)...

He's one of the big names, if not "THE BIG NAME", when it comes to album
artwork, photography, and video direction...  His name is plastered all
over, especially in correlation to his work with Depeche Mode and U2...
So..uuhhmm..that's probably why it sounds familiar :^)
