Re: Dreamtour
i wanted to reply about the dream tour..i saw the cure for the first time and i guess last time in tornoto last summer...next to the lake with a full moon... it was the most inspiring musical experiecne i had ever had.....everything that has ever influenced me of the cure..from a lyric to a stlye of vocal robert to how the guitars sounded deep with their effects....to the intense musicainship.... the guitars...oh my god..so intense and well played..their energy effected everyone that went..i cried during alot of the older tunes..just becuase of my memories of growing upo..like when i heard faith...it just pulled me becuase that song has meant so much to me in my youth....iheard it live...in front of me..bare and real... just the way they played with real emtion....ever since then i have made my band what it was for that..to work hard to feel what you feel..to take everything and just be honest and experience....the only sad thing of the show ...was i didnt have a lover with me to hold and stare into and share..but then again ..i ve listened to most of the cure alone... i love blood flowers....i shows change and honesty in growing up..something robert has always talked about... i does return to some of the darker aspects of their early music..it does have a rawness....and it is a good way to end a nice music career....the songs arent so much as sad..just coming to a realization..that" all things arent forever" and that life is uncertain.... something..now at 28 im finally coming to terms with.... erick ===== TRANSLUCIA....Lisa, Erick, and Tony
