Re: Dreamtour
Dear Mephistopheles, I saw one gig of The Cure Dreamtour last year in Berlin on april the 16.th. And it was -- FANTASTIC. It made me think I was back in the good old days of The Cure, back in the days of " Pornography ", " Faith" and the others. I was not sure what I've had to expect. Back from my 14. birthday I was absolutely in The Cure but just untill their " Wild mood swings" album. I was shocked by this album. I thought that Cure lost their ability to create their significant kind of music.I thought that they better had finished after their brilliant " Wish " album, which was not full of " stupid " I feel so fine " Pop songs. So I left the "Cure path " - untill I heard Bloodflowers for the first time. " Bloodflowers " - so full of energy again, so filled up with Robert Smith 's emotions and with an landscape of dark, powerfull, straight songs. It's nearly unbelievable in which way Robert gives that impression , that after all what happens in life, finally comes to an end, that nothing is endless - also love. " Flowers always fade ......" I love it. regards Silvio
