mp3.com charges - hurry b4 too late

Folks,

Once again mp3.com is shafting the artist a little bit more.  All D.A.M.
CDs artists sell via mp3.com will now charge the artist a $3.99 production
fee/disc sold, so when I choose to sell my DAM discs at the lowest
possible price of $6.99/disc, I would normally receive %50 of that sale
(approx. $3.50/disc), now under the new policy I will recive $1.50/disc
sold ($6.99-$3.99 = $3.00 -> $3.00/2 = $1.50)

Don't know about how you all feel, but I'm quite displeased... this will
force myself and most other artists to increase their D.A.M. prices, so if
you've been thinking of buying some DAM discs, now's the time before the
prices go up.  I have already chosen to pay the monthly $20.00 fee, but I
have been able to inch out ahead so far with a net gain due to DAM sales
and Payback for Playback, now I will end up paying THEM each month with
this new deal under my current stats.  I will probably shut down my
mp3.com page when this occurs, in protest.  Looking back, it's clearly
obvious all of the ways the thought of so that they could get by not
having to pay the artists.
