mike really likes the first couple Gary Numan releases ('down in the park'
was an influence on him) ............the latter material doesn't do much for
either of us.

here's a funny gary numan related story:

mike and i went to see him a few years ago and i ended up in a scuffle with
some little girl marilyn manson goths. they were shoving people and yelling
and when the one chick lifted the other one to her shoulders (don't know how
they managed that) i shoved them over. it was pretty damn funny. everyone
was happy and security hauled them out. after the show we were standing
outside talking to some people who happened to know them and they were
cheesing all over mike inviting him to a party at their house (seems they
figured out he was in Lycia...as if) they were so stupid they didn't even
realize we were responsibe for getting them kicked out of the show! heehee.
it took me back to my punk rock days! ;) people are so stupid.
