i feel that lycia is actually ambient first ....
then adds all of the dark beautiful
qualites....ambient but with touches of
ethereal,darkwave,mellow goth,newage,noise....

i love lycia.....im glad i got into them when i did
before i formed my own band translucia,....simply
their music was just honest and pure and very
emotional...the music helped you along in
understanding that was okay to feel in
music....something i felt was lost in dark music for a
while....

when our band plays out..i know they feeland they
stare..and i know they are confronted by the emotion
of the sound...

same for me when i heard them and then saw them
live....
